BiLiPro Page Turner pedal...

Q: Connect to a PC?

A: Yes, the BiLiPro Page Turner pedal will connect and install automatically in Windows as an external USB QWERTY keyboard (although it has only 2 keys -page-up and page-down). Just plug it into any of your USB ports. The left button is Page-up, the right button is page-down. Any software that uses those keys on your QWERTY keyboard will respond the same to the Page Turner buttons.

Q: Connect to a Mac?

A: Yes, the BiLiPro Page Turner pedal will connect and install automatically in any Mac OS computer as an external USB QWERTY keyboard (although it has only 2 keys -page-up and page-down). Just plug it into any of your USB ports. The left button is Page-up, the right button is page-down. Q: Connect to an iPad?

A: Yes, the BiLiPro Page Turner pedal will connect to both the iPad and iPad2. Our pedal has a standard USB connector, so you will need an Apple Camera Connector Kit (about $15 from any authorized Apple reseller). When you plug it in, you will see a message saying "Cannot Use Device. The connected USB device is not supported." Just click 'OK' and move on to your app. What that message means is that our pedal will not work on all the apps in an iPad, but it does work for apps designed specifically for displaying multiple pages of music and pages such as Power Music (Cambron Software UK) Musicreader, GigBook, UnRealBook, OnSong, and Forscore... with more coming all the time. Please note, at this time, there are some 'PDF Reader' apps that don't respond to Page-up & Page-down keystrokes... however, you can read pdfs on the apps we mentioned above.

Q: Connect to Android tablets, eReaders?

A: At this time, we are aware of the Musicsheets app by Zubersoft for Android tablets, however, your tablet must have a standard USB port (with power) to make use of our Page-Up/Down pedal. Due to the various sizes of Android tablets, there are issues with pagination that we cannot support.

Q: Is it durable?

A: If you are asking if the BiLiPro Page Turner can handle the pounding of a typical guitar pedal... no. Although the case is metal, and buttons are made of a long-lasting plastic, it is designed for typical computer use, so take care. If you break it, we can get you extra parts for you to install. Buttons are $15 for a set.

BiLiPro FootMouse & FootButtons:

Q: Connect to PC?

A: Yes, the BiLiPro FootMouse & FootButtons pedal will work on any Windows computer, with the included software utility "FootMouse Assistant" by Neuratron, UK. The software will allow you to progam the buttons to address standard shortcuts and commands already in your QWERTY keyboard. The owner's manual has the details to assign buttons, which are specific to the software that you want to use (PowerPoint, Word, Acrobat Reader, etc). Please note, the FootMouse & FootButtons pedal should be installed as an external QWERTY keyboard - ANSI, United States, 101 keys.

Q: Connect to a Mac?

A: Yes, the BiLiPro FootMouse & FootButtons pedal will work on most Mac OS computers. There is no software utility for the Mac, because assigning shortcut buttons is already part of most of the Mac software applications. Please note, the FootMouse & FootButtons pedal should be installed as an external QWERTY keyboard - ANSI, United States, 101 keys.

Q: Connect to an iPad?

A: Not at this time. Apple developers have not yet made any apps to use the BiLiPro FootMouse & FootButtons pedal... but we'll keep you posted.

Q: Connect to Android tablets, eReaders?

A: Not at this time. Android developers have not yet made any apps to use the BiLiPro FootMouse & FootButtons pedal... but we'll keep you posted.

Q: What kind of mouse does this unit use?

A: It is a standard optical mouse on the bottom of a 'slipper'. The slipper has velcro straps so one-size-fits-all. Please take care of this mouse, using it on its included large mouse-pad, keeping it clean. You can clean the optical mouse reader the same way you clean a hand-mouse... a little isopropyl alcohol. Also, if you are traveling, don't wrap the cord too tight... we made the wires small and light for ease of motion, but they aren't heavy-duty durable.
